Ground cherries! Last year when I did this I got enough to pick one or two every morning to enjoy on my way to work, which always started my day off well.

Oh, what a great way to start your day!

Figworts! Early and Late. I got some by winter sowing and also ordered some from Prairie Moon in case they didn’t germinate over the winter. But they DID! I have lots and lots of Figworts! Lots.

I just looked up figworts! What a cool flower!

Really like seeing your unusual stuff!

I tend towards the unusual varieties of vegetables too. I've grown Korean Long tomatoes (big, pointy fruit but not a great producer) and heirloom lettuces. This past season, I grew White Icicle radishes. They were closer in look and flavor to horseradish, because they were so powerful they made us gasp.

Oooh, those white icicle radishes are beautiful!

They are, but they're painfully strong 😄

Can’t wait to try making Nerds Gummy Clusters from scratch!

We'll document that for a future newsletter!

Realizing I have nothing unusual in my garden and you're making me think it's time to change that... 😊

Well, I am moving to Sweden in two weeks (eeek!), and I am going to plant something crazy on my new balcony.
